Tozeur is a small Tunisian town (approximately 40,000 inhabitants) in the North-East of the Sahara.
Tozeur, which is irrigated by over 200 springs, is one of the most famous oases in the world. It shelters a splendid palm grove of about four million trees stretching over ten thousand hectares.

Tozeur is the point of departure for many excursions to the Great Tunisian South Nefta, the astonishing Chott el-Djerid, the mountain oases of the Eastern Atlas or the Oung Jmel region where the famous decor was specially erected for the filming of the George Lucas trilogy, Star Wars
